BMW K1600 GT-7.Tankrucksack

Klasse Motorrad – „Beknackter“ BMW-Tankrucksack!

-Das Ganze kostet ca. 200€ – forget it!

Fine Bike – poor and evil tank bag!
I fear, this parts designer never was sitting on a bike,
not to mention he travelled with a bike:

– The bag is much too small
– a map is fitting only in its smallest completely interfolded condition
– To turn the map you have to open a zipper which is shorter than the map is long
– According to this its a big operation to turn the map without hurting it
– The bag is processed very good but:
– Both side pockets look very crinkly and poor
– 200 Dollars? Forget it!

.
Clear recommendation to the italian FAMSA-bag:
All things are deliberated brainy and well processed!

.

Was ich allerdings nicht mag:
Dieses Riemenzeugs um den Lenkkopf…
Also Riemen abschneiden und mit zwei Blechschrauben
auf dem Kunststoffaufsatz des Tanks verschrauben.

However, what I don’t like:
That straps stuff around the steering head…
That means: Cut the straps and fix the bag with two self-tapping screws
at the plastic cap of the tank.

.

Dasselbe am anderen Ende.
Funktioniert seit 3 Jahren problemlos!

…same action at the other side.
Works since 3 years without any problem!

Motorrad ohne Tankrucksack für mich ein „no go“.
Und genau so gefällt mir mein Schätzle!
Die Geschmäcker sind halt nicht alle gleich…

Bike without tank bag for me a „no go“.
And this is the way I like my baby!
And yes, the preferences are different…

.

Something at last:
The spacious map panel is to be dropped by a zipper,
to refuel you can turn down the bag by another zipper.
If you open this one completely, you can demount the bag
and take it with you on your shoulder with a special belt.

In the end you have a well made rain cover for the bag…
